JORDAN MCAULEY
Principal, Landscape Architect (BCSLA, CSLA)
He/Him
Jordan has over 13 years of experience as a planning and design professional, having helped envision and realize park, public realm, climate and coastal adaptation, and other land-based projects across the full spectrum of scale and complexity throughout Vancouver and British Columbia. His work has included numerous projects from small intimate gardens to multi-acre regional parks. Jordan has served on the District of Squamish Advisory Design Panel, and as a Director at Large on the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects.
In addition to his extensive experience as a designer, Jordan has spent seven years as a park planner with the Vancouver Park Board + City of Vancouver. As the planner overseeing the project, he led a multi-disciplinary consultant team on the 90+ Acre Imagine West End Waterfront Plan, and along with the team received the 2025 Canadian Institute of Planners Award for Planning Excellence. As a Senior Planner, Jordan led the team responsible for the critical work of adapting Vancouver’s coastal parks and beaches to sea level rise and ongoing storm and wave damage.
With a passion for drawing, classical guitar, and exploration by bike, Jordan brings a diverse, creative rigour to his practice, and believes all landscapes can be restorative and resilient for people, plants, pollinators and wildlife.
Jordan is a Registered Landscape Architect (Member #550) with the British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects (BCSLA).
